Funded PhD Student Position

The department currently offers a salaried PhD position in Set Theory for a duration of up to three years (ending in December 2019). Starting dates are flexible, but we expect to fill the position as early as possible. The monthly salary is 15 000 CZK (plus 6000 CZK government support). The PhD student is expected to participate in an ongoing research project lead by Martin Goldstern, David Chodounský and Jonathan Verner focusing on forcing and ultrafilters on ω. Applicants with background/interest in these topics will be preferred. The project also has a budget of 180 000 CZK per year for travel which will be partly available to the applicant.
